Elevated holiday party
Anthropologie Opaque Tights
Shoes, jewelry and other accessories aren't the only ways to make a statement. Case in point: Tights! Garcia recommends this pair from Anthropologie, which ranges from a festive red to a vibrant pink. "Tights make skirts more wearable," she also adds.
Free People Night Rhythm Corset Bodysuit
White might be a neutral color, but it tends to stand out in a monochromatic look. To start, Garcia recommends a simple base, such as this corset bodysuit. It's sultry, hugs the waist and supports the bust all in one.
Nvwarock Gold Drop Clip-On Earrings
We couldn't believe the price point either — this set of gold earrings looks more expensive than it's actually worth. They're a clip-on pair, so if you're new to piercings or don't want a heavy pair, reviews say these are comfortable and lightweight.
Mango Sequin Clutch Bag
A little bit of sequins doesn't hurt. And it might just be that pop of detail your outfit needs. Mango's sequin clutch bag fits elegantly in hand, but can be born across the body or over the shoulder with the included gold chain strap. To continue the monochromatic theme, Garcia suggests adding all red accessories.
Editor's note: Although Garcia's recommendation is out of stock, you can shop a similar option below.
Nina Crystal Clutch
This glam pick comes with an optional chain strap so you can use it as a clutch or as an over-the-shoulder purse.
Free People Vera Lace Bow
This lace bow will add a dainty touch to your wardrobe. It also is the perfect excuse to ditch the beanie and cap this winter.
Topshop Tailored Oversize Blazer
A modern oversized blazer will be one of the most versatile options in your closet. It works for sophisticated gatherings, especially for holiday drinks and dinners, or for everyday wear, depending on what you pair it with.
Topshop Tailored Miniskirt
You can't have a blazer without a tailored bottom. The matching skirt to the blazer, for instance, is fitted with a bit of stretch, and will pair well with the rest of Garcia's accessories.
Steve Maden Sabrina Patent Shoes
These patent shoes are playful Mary Janes with three thin straps, a high heel and decorative buckles. But what caught Garcia's eye is the patent material, especially the classic red that will stand out during your festivities.
Cozy family party
Franco Sarto Vana Flat
Garcia says gold accessories are where you should start if you're opting for casual attire for the holidays, adding that they "make it holiday festive in a modern/sophisticated way." This gold flat from Franco Sarto is a comfortable alternative to heels, and are clean and classic in their own way.
J.Crew Classic Belt
Belts can elevate the most relaxed jeans, especially this metallic gold one from J.Crew. It isn't overly flashy, yet it stands out amongst every color and fabric.
Electric Picks Bambi Earrings
Chunky earrings are always fun, but why not go bigger and bolder? This lightweight double heart pair is made from 14k gold, and can be worn year round. But if gold isn't your preference, it comes in a sterling silver plated option, too.
Gap Vintage Soft Raglan Sweatshirt
Believe it or not, sweatshirts can be appropriate for the holidays, especially "for a cozy holiday family party," suggests Garcia. It just depends on how you style it. With the gold accessories above, this soft Gap sweatshirt will be a perfect match.
Abercrombie Curve Love High Rise 90s Relaxed Jean
For more coziness, Garcia recommends a classic jean, such as this relaxed pair from Abercrombie. It comes in various lengths, sizes and other ranges to accommodate every body type.
Black tie holiday
Mango Long Sequin Cape
Sometimes just the coat, jacket or cape alone revolutionizes your outfit. "This one piece changes the entire vibe making this black tie appropriate," Garcia says. "Length adds drama, [and] sequin just [the] right amount of shimmer."
Editor’s note: Although Garcia’s recommendation is out of stock, you can shop a similar option below.
Anthropologie Ombre Sequin Duster Cape
Wear this cape over a dress or with jeans to add some holiday flair to any outfit.
Roffe Mesh Opera Gloves
Garcia says opera gloves are "one of the best after accessories," and describes that they're "super sophisticated/proper" but the sheerness "gives edge." They'll also add a bit of protection from the cool weather this season.
Anthropologie The Petra Pavé Large Drop Earrings
There's a reason these earrings went viral on the Internet: They're not too big, not overly heavy and have the right amount of shine from the rhinestones to balance any look.
Abercrombie Stretch Satin Column Midi Dress
Satin is the undeclared fabric of the holiday season. We love the way the material drapes in this dress as it sculpts the body, which only enhances the little black dress moment. It's available in regular, petite and tall lengths for a variety of sizes.
Steve Madden Valenteen Satin Heels
"Bows are a huge trend," suggests Garcia, and she recommends adding them "wherever you can." Instead of a hair accessory, opt for a voluminous bow on your heels, such as this one from Steve Madden. The stiletto heel with the bow detail only enhances the drama.

Ugg Sherpa Oversized Scarf
This oversized scarf is a cozy-looking piece that Blackwell loves, but reviewers love it, too. It holds an almost five-star rating and reviewers are raving about how soft and warm it is.
L.L. Bean Mountain Pile Fleece Mittens
Classic mittens get a soft upgrade with the all-over fuzzy design of this pair. They're made from polyester sherpa and the palms are lined in microsuede.
Moon Boot Icon Nylon Boots
These moon boots were made for walking. From the thick sole to the lace-up style, they're perfect for every day wear when snow is on the ground.
Birkenstock Boston Big Buckle Shearling
These shoes are just as cozy as they look. Made with plush teddy shearling, they should keep your feet warm and supported throughout its use.
Ugg Shearling Earmuffs
According to reviews, this pair of earmuffs are incredibly warm without being too tight over your ears. And if you already own a pair of Uggs, these earmuffs will be a cute matching moment.
